The interest in the fields of Wildlife Conservation Medicine and Exotic Pet Medicine has been growing exponentially in recent decades. However, the current veterinary medicine university curricula are still poorly targeted to these areas.

FAUNA was the solution!

Created by a group of students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon, FAUNA aims to solve/supply the growing demand for training in the areas mentioned.

Every year, we organize lectures, workshops, field trips and, our biggest event, the FAUNA International Conference.
